I have owned a kneelsit for years now. It is still in very good shape. I purchased it years ago because I was spending so much time at the computer in my office. Now, however, I need one at the house because I am spending up to 8 hours at my computer there. Great chair and nothing compares! I\'ve tried so-called ergonomic chairs and the kneelsit is far superior to anything described or designed as ergonomic. Cheers to you!

Just wanted to let you know, I have found the right setting for my chair! Took a little playing around with the spring but now I feel great and can sit for a few hours a day. My lower legs get a little achy, but I believe that's from being in the same "new" position. I'm trying to make a point of moving my legs in different positions and getting up often.
This chair has allowed me to eat many meals and at least get some work done in comfort --- something I could not have done without it!

I'd like to take the opportunity to say thank you for a great invention. I appreciate that you offer the second hand chairs, and although the price is high, it is worth it.
The chair isn't without its quirks, and it's taken some adjusting to get it where it's comfortable, but it is the best chair for my back I've ever experienced. My muscles still do get fatigued, but not nearly as much or as fast as my other chairs. For awhile my knees and shins would ache, but that's gone away for the most part, and I assumed that's natural while getting used to it anyway.
The leather is a good grain, the frame is exceptionally sturdy, even surviving my feet pushing down against the frame and some incorrect assembly from the previous owner. It's definitely of high-quality materials and workmanship, and that's hard to find these days.

I just wanted to let you know the huge difference your chair has made to my ability to sit - since purchasing your chair I have not had to take any painkillers and I am coping with constantly sitting to meet my study requirements and work demands. While I still need to take appropriate breaks I now feel I can continue my career and have a normal life without constant back pain - the next best thing would be to have something like the kneel sit in a car for travelling long distances! My employer has also purchased a kneel sit for my work which is wonderful.

This is the best chair in the world. Surgery was recommended for my ruptured disks and sciatica. I was
seriously considering it. I looked at every kneeling chair made, and determined that Kneelsit is the
best. I am no longer considering surgery! This is one of the best purchases I ever made. I couldn't sit
for longer than 15 minutes without experiencing excrutiating pain. Now I can sit at my computer as
long as necessary and get up pain free. I actually took my chair to Christmas dinner at a friends.
I was able to enjoy the entire 6 course meal pain free!

I took a chance and bought my kneelsit chair in February, after trying as many high-end 'normal' chairs as I
could find. I work in front of a computer, and was having problems with my upper back and shoulders, as well
as feeling like my lower back was not being supported well enough in the office chairs provided by my employer.
I was just feeling like my shoulders were hunched and my bad posture was a direct result of my sitting position.
Primary in my decision to go ahead and try one out was the truly risk-free nature of the trial...I must have
emailed Greg at Kneelsit 5 times, confirming that if I didn't like it, all I'd be out was shipping back to their
California facility. He was very responsive in his emails, not to mention being very patient in answering the
nervous questions of a hesitant purchaser. I also thought that the back support that is unique to the kneelsit
chair, when compared to the other kneeling options, would be of primary importance, especially for extended
periods of sitting. Honestly, I can't imagine having a kneeling chair without the back support...it would just
be too tiring!
I definitely like the chair, and it has helped out with most of the problems...my shoulders hang naturally now,
and my core is involved in supporting me, so I feel like my spine is much more aligned. Also, I feel much more
'poised for action', like I am literally on the edge of my seat. It did take some time to get used to it, as
well as some fiddling with the adjustments, but nothing too bad.
I hope I've answered your questions...I highly recommend this chair if you are finding yourself displeased with
other ergonomic-type chairs. Design Within Reach in Houston (on West Gray) let me borrow a few of their chairs
for a day (Aeron, a few others) to try at the office...I liked them, but I wasn't all that impressed with them.
With Greg's customer service and willingness to stand behind his product, I'd say you can't go wrong with at
least trying it out! Several of my office mates are VERY jealous (but nobody has actually ponied up the cash
like I did...unfortunately, I had to pay out of pocket!)

I love my kneel-sit chair :) It was worth every cent. It has really saved me. I had a herniated disk and
had 3 injections but I still had to come to work and sit for 8-10 hours a day, putting pressure on my spine.
I felt I could stay home in bed and off my back or take a chance on the chair. My husband has worked for a
medical supply store in the past and suggested a Back Saver chair, but I found the kneel-sit on the internet,
it just seemed to make sense and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did ! There were occasional days
when I had to go to a different office and sit in a regular office chair and I could feel the difference...
I really missed my kneel-sit. I recommend it to everyone I know who has a back problem. I think it is close
to a year now and I have not had any recurrence of my back problem which I credit to my kneel-sit chair.

Your Kneelsit chair has been a God-send to me: I'm on my computer at work 9 hours a day, I wouldn't last
more than a few hours without the Knelssit (I used to have to take strong pain medication almost daily,
I had a ruptured disk in my lumbar). I've rid myself of having to frequently chase down pain pills and
chiropractic visits. The tweaking of your chair is great - I'm 6'3" so I adjust it differently for my
fiancée who's 5'6". I was so pleased with the chair that, as you know, I bought a 2nd one for home.

Hi Greg,
Just wanted to let you know how much I love my Kneelsit chair. I was a bit wary of spending that much money at first
because I do have to be economical, but the very first time I sat in it I immediately felt it had been money
very well spent.I use it to teach Piano & also at the computer. I explain it to the parents of my students,
almost all of whom stay for their child's lesson. Some of them have been quite interested, as have a couple
of the children who get a turn to sit in it occasionally while I play the piano. So, you never know,
one of them may decide to buy a chair one day!
I have minor lower back, upper back & neck problems, so I'm hoping that using the chair will at least stop them
from getting worse & may even help them improve! I'm certainly a lot more comfortable sitting in it compared
to other chairs. I also use it sometimes when I'm reading or watching TV. I love the feeling when I first sit
down in it .... you know, that "aaaah, that's better!" feeling.
I'll continue to spread the word about your great chair! Keep up the good work.

End Result: This is the best chair I've ever used.
I don't even want to leave the computer; it's so comfortable I can sleep in it!
I no longer have pain when I wake up. I always was able to predict a storm
because my back would go out, but not anymore! Last week, we had torrential downpours
and I felt fine.
I now know that all the inferior chairs I've had before contributed to my pain.

I have not been able to sit for more than 2 minutes for 24 years. I
have consulted several chair specialists, obtained the body built
chair, kneeling chair, bambach chair and gymnastic ball for sitting
plus other chairs. I have been to 3 orthopedic surgeons, I have been to
a back clinic for 2 years to learn a home program called
DMT(Decompression Mobilization Therapy). I have had prolo therapy done
on low back, neck and knees. In addition I have been to chiropractors
and accupuncturists plus other alternative medicine practitioners for
nutrition etc.
I retired 7 years ago because I could no longer walk .
I thought I would die before I would ever find a way to sit. I was a programmer for 41 years so sitting was
very important.

Just wanted to let you know that I received the replacement rubber caps
for the spring. I've put one of them on and the clunking has completely
gone, thank you. Your chair is proving to be a real life saver for me.
I have awful trouble with my back when I try to sit on any other chair
for any more than about half an hour. As a writer you can imagine what
a terrible hindrance to my life this is. Your chair takes so much
pressure off my back I can sit two or more hours quite comfortably in
it. I've tried almost all other options and nothing has been as good as
your chair. I now even wheel it all around the house so I don't have to
sit in any other chair to watch television or to eat my meal at the

LOVE THE KNEELSIT YOU SENT, THANK YOU!
I am 6'4" and weigh 280 lbs, so - for me - the knee rest needs more padding....I
sort of start out in the right position but then slump down so that my knees 'ride up'
over time.
The seat has saved my back and hips 90%. If the kneeler could be constructed so that
it stopped my slide and the pain I get in my shins after about an hour or so then this
would bring the contraption to perfection 100%.

Hi Greg,
I received my chair last week (a week after back surgery for a severely laterally herniated disc and very compressed
nerve) and was finally able to sit in comfort after many weeks of excrutiating pain. I still cannot sit in a
regular chair for more than a few minutes without pain, but I can sit in the kneelsit and work at my computer
(about an hour at a time with breaks--I am working up slowly). Everyone who has tried it has been amazed when
they sit on it. My husband, who has scoliosis, was really surprised at the comfort! Hopefully, as I heal from
surgery, I will be able to get back to longer, pain free hours of my graphic design/computer work, and avoid
future back problems.

Now I see what a serious piece of industrial machinery is your product,
I just know it’ll see me out... and I’m planning on at

it glides about on my marble floors (I’m not being flash... I
live in Spain and they’re all marble) as light of foot as a

different varieties in the past, but none with a back rest. It does make this
one the best one yet.
I knew when I saw it, that I would love sitting in it. The softly padded
seat and back and knee rest make it very comfortable. The adjustability of it

sits on the floor. No wheels to trip over when getting in and out of the

customary chairs just this side of objects of torture -- and, have spent a
great deal of money on various types/brands of chairs. I do not have a 'bad
